Selvili Han

Only a small portion of its facade has survived to the present day, but like Çukur Han, Selvili Han was once located in what was known as the han district. Estimated to have been built in the early 18th century, the han was largely demolished during the construction of Fevzi Paşa Boulevard. Built to serve caravans arriving from long distances, Selvili Han was a classic example of Ottoman hans. It was a two-story structure, constructed in a symmetrical architectural style within the constraints of its parcel. The han featured a rectangular courtyard, with arcades extending along the second floor overlooking the courtyard. Archival documents suggest that the han primarily specialized in the trade of textiles brought from outside Anatolia.

Like other hans in the region, Selvili Han was later repurposed for different uses, serving as an office space and storage facility over time. Today, the last remaining portion of Selvili Han stands unnoticed along Fevzi Paşa Boulevard, silently greeting passersby with a nostalgic longing for its past.
