Pergamon Theatre

The ancient theater is one of the most beautiful architectural works of the Hellenistic period. Being the steepest theater in Western Anatolia, the structure accommodates 10,000 people and was completed using terracing techniques developed during the Hellenistic period, on a steep slope of 30 degrees. Unfortunately, the wooden stage has not survived to the present day. (Anonymous)
